Could Itchiness In Anus After Loose Motion Indicate Worms In Intestine?
Hi Doctor,My son is 2 yrs old and he has been suffering from vomiting and loose stool for which he was treated. Its been 10 days since we stopped his medicines and he complains of stomach ache every time he eats. He also complains of feeling like vomiting but he has not yet puked. Also he is passing stinky loose stool again. He loves eating sweet and anything that has sugar in it. The doctor asked me to stop feeding him anything that is sweet for a few days and prescribed grandem and lanzol junior 15. After taking the medicine, he is now complaining of itchiness in his anus. Is it worms in his intestine? Please suggest.

Anal itch is an important sign of Pinworms. Please get stool exam done and get treated if it is so.
