Could I Be Pregnant With The Delay In Period After A Surgery?

I am 38 and had laparoscopic removal of 2 large fibroids (15x17 and 6x8cm) 4 weeks ago. Prior to surgery I had monthly injections of prostap for 3 months. I am keen to get pregnant and we have been having sex again for 2 weeks (with the approval of my surgeon) I still haven't had a period since my surgery. The last one was about 6-7 weeks ago- it never completely stopped with the prostap, though it was lighter and went on for longer. Pre-treatment I had a pretty regular cycle all my adult life. Could I be pregnant already? Might the lack of period be due to the prostap or the surgery still? When should I do a pregnancy test?

Hi. Prostap inj.is Leupride 3.75mg which might be given to you before surgery to reduce the size of fibroid. It usually causes irregular cycles But since 6-7 weeks are already gone and effect of inj. is not expected now, so you should check for pregnancy and better to confirm the things by getting a scan(internal scan) TVS done.Thanks.
