Could Having Unwanted 72 Effect Thyroid Levels?

hi, sir i m 21 right nw. n i have hypothyroidism since i was 15, and an IDDM patience since i was 9 yrs old. I took one Unwanted 72 after 2 hrs of unprotected sex on 9th day after last bleedin. my next date is on 26. please help me whether my thyroid level will be affected. or any other future prblm due to this. thanx

welcome to hcm,

according to the best of my knowledge unwanted 72 will not affect your thyroid levels.
these pills delay your ovulation and if eggs are produced it stops the fertilization.
if this drug is used frequently it can cause weight gain .
harmonal imbalance ,
mentrual problems etc.
it is only an emergency contraceptive pill only and it is not a regular contraceptive.
it does not prevent you from sexually transmitted diseases and HIV
