Could Having Aspirin In Pregnancy Be Harmful For The Baby?

Hi. I have had 2 embryo transfers and have just found out I am pregnant. As well as estrogen, progesterone drugs etc my ivf specialist has prescribed 300 mg of aspirin per day. I am reading online though and there is a lot of material which suggests aspirin should not be taken while pregnant?
