Could Frequent Urge To Throw Up Indicate Onset Of Acid Reflux?

I have never burped (can t) before, and have to throw up air many times throughout the day because the air will build up. Sometimes this causes me to actually throw up, and feel that it is also leading me to get acid reflux. I am starting to get worried, as it seems to be getting worse.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to chronic gastritis. For that you can take tablet pantoprazole and syp mucaine gel after physician consultation. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid immediate lie down after meal.

In case of not getting relief you may require complete hemogram, upper GI endoscopy, ultrasound abdomen after gynaecologist consultation. Take soft balanced diet. Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
