Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You had tracheotomy 40 years back, and so far you are comfortable. It may not be related to the present symptoms.
The present symptoms cough, lump feeling, trouble in swallowing, etc may be due to the laryngitis, or some growth around the esophagus.
Don't worry the cause may be related to the trachiotomy, tissues, out side esophagus, or some infection of the larynx.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
