Could Developing Melasma While Having Hypothyroid Indicate Hashimoto S?
i am hypothyroid n developin melasma which is deepening n increasin,i am tryin to suspect if i have hashimoto s as i have hormonal acne and open pores,bad skin n hair health so which has a strong association with melasma,hashimoto s or hypothyroidism?

according to the studies there is a certain association between melasma and auto immune thyroid disorders LIKE HASHIMOTO'S.
presence of hashimoto's can be diagnosed with presence of anti tpo and anti tg antibodies in the blood. i would suggest you to get these tests done.
