Could Chest Pain Be A Symptom Of Withdrawal From Smoking?

I recently quit smoking (8 days ago) and have been feeling chest tightness and back pain. This never happened while I smoked. Is this related to withdrawals or is my body simply recovering from the damage I've caused in the past? I'm 36 and smoked for 15 years (1/2 pack per day).

Hi dear,
chest tightness and beck pain occurs in withdrawal of smoking. and you smoked for 15 years long time. other symptoms associated like irritability, gabahraman, anxiousness, mild tremors, flushing sometimes, also intense craving is also there.
if you are not able to cope with such symptoms take expert consultation from psychiatrist.
smoking leads to lung damage so do x ray chest and sputum examination also complete blood count..
