Could Burning Sensation In Ears Be A Result Of Vestibular Schwannoma?
My cousin is diagnosed with Vestibular Schwannoma and the tumour is slow-growing (2mm pa) but he has burning sensation in his ears. They think that it is not related to the tumour so he wants to know where it is coming from and how to help this….Thanks a lot

Thanks for your query, albeit small and specific about your cousin.
You are abdolutely right, the internal problem ideally should not cause any burning sensation in the ear as the nerve supply is different and not from the vestibular nerve at all.
It is possible that there are associated other problems along with Vestibular Schwannoma.
I would advise your cousin to get a clinical evaluation, examination and investigations done by an ENT Surgeon.
And get treated according to the findings...
