Could Bump And Laceration On Scalp Cause Concussion?

i slipped in bathroom and hit head last night in bathroom on the edge of a wall. I have bump and a laceration on scalp under hair. I didn t lose consciousness, not feeling dizzy. But obvious pain where I hit my head. I m out of town and traveling for work and flying tomorrow. I am having anxiety about if there could be injury to my brain that I m unaware of.

Welcome at HCM
i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns ...
Are u feeling any weakness in your arms or legs? Any numbness? Any visual or speech problems?..
In my opinion you are absolutely fine and should stop worrying about brain injury...
You should use acetaminophen to relieve pain...
