Could Being Effected By Cold Effect Varicose Vein Surgery?

good morning, I am having a open surgery on my varicose vein this on 16/12/10 and have i think now come down with a cold. I have been waiting for this opeartion for months and now worried that the cold would prevent me from having the GA? Is there something I can do? would having a cold stop the op? I do not cough... many thanks. Linda K

Temperature variations like summer season or cold season do not affect in any way outcome of any surgery.Irrespective of any season get operated.
