Could Anxiety Be Causing Tightness And Pain In Chest?

I have been having light to moderate pains in my left chest with occasional arm feeling like it going to sleep. I feel tightness on my chest occasionally. The symptoms come and go for 4 days now. I had a severere anxiety attack almost 3 months ago and I have been thinking it may be anxiety. It is not the same symptom I felt when I went to hospital February 1 and that was the first anxiety attack I ever had. Could this be anxiety as I am under a lot of stress

Thanks for your question on HCM.
It seems anxiety related mostly.
But better to rule out cardiac cause first as you are having left sided chest pain with arm discomfort.
So get done ECG to rule out cardiac cause.
If this is normal than no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
It seems anxiety related mostly.
So avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counseling sessions. Try to find out stressors in your life and work out their solutions.
You may need oral anxiolytics too.
