Could Tazloc H Cause Severe Weakness And Dry Cough?
My mother 80 years is on Tazloc H for one year but she complains of severe weakness.Her BP is around 150/80.Is this because of Tazloc H and any substitute for this.She also complains of severe dry cough especially at night.Is this beacuse of Tazloc H?Does she need to change the medicine?Thanks.

Your mother has a history of taking Tazloc H since a year. Since she is experiencing fatigue and cough, you are suggested to inform her treating doctor urgently. Side effects of Tazloc are fatigue, sinus inflammation, respiratory tract infection, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, etc. Tazloc H is given to control blood pressure. You are suggested not to stop the medication by yourself but consult the treating doctor, so that it can be replaced by another medication that suits her better.
Get her clinically examined. She may have to go through few tests and investigations. Get her treated at the earliest. In the meantime for relieve she should rinse and gargle her throat with warm salt water 3-4 times a day. Syrup Grillinctus-BM is also effective. She can take vitamin E rich food or supplements to feel better.
