I am at the end of my tether. I had a terrible faecal smell and excess mucous smell from my nose since the age of 12. At 18, I started thoroughly cleaning my tongue as well. My dental hygienist told me I had tonsil crypts so the Doctor finally allowed me to have my tonsils out on private medical insurance. The problem completely disappeared for 4 years! However, at 30 it came back again full force. I thought it may be excess milk (drinking Starbucks hot chocolate everyday) or trauma to my nose (I had a non surgical nose job which injected solution into my bridge). I have cut out dairy completely as Doc said I m mildly lactose intolerant (which seemed to cause the faecal smell). I also had FESS sinus surgery which hasn t helped. I now have an awful urine smell permanently coming from my nose. Betnesol N drops helped for a while as did Bee Propolis but not anymore. I ve had blood, urine and faeces sample tests Doc only said low liver count of ALT 40. I ve had TMAU test, had colonics,used neilmed sinus rinse and tried every medicine under the sun. My eyes water and run much more than others as soon as I step out in the cold weather. Is it coming from my kidneys? I ve lost my job and my home, don t go on dates and feel I ve missed on a lot of relationship opportunities because of my breath. This is ruining my life. Please help
