Cough, Watering Eyes, Decay Of Wisdom Teeth. CT Scan Shows Fluid In Left Sinus. Treatment?

I was suffering from Cough since 6 years. After consulting with several ENT doctors I could not get a clear diagnosis. Now my left Eye start watering in the morning and My left wisdom tooth had some decay. I talk to one of my friend in US and he asked me to check my sinuses and took a CT scan for my head.. The result shows that my left sinus is filled with fluid. I have no headache or any other discomfort except Cough. What can I do now to cure this cough? k.ramadas@

hi k.ramadas,
I have read your question,
You have not mentioned the frequency of the cough .Cough since 6 years could be a serious issue , If you are experiencing chronic cough , breathlessness , weight loss , evening raise of body temperature, loss of appetite ,it could be chronic allergic bronchitis or tuberculosis.I think we can rule out sinus problem since just filling of water is not enough to conclude sinusitis , it is generally accompanied with headache , nausea and swelling at the affected area.

Tooth decay is not related to cough and requires a dental attention, water eye could be due to infection of lacrimal gland , it requires consultation with an ophthalmologist.

For cough I would suggest you to consult a chest physician immediately.

Wishing you a good health,
