Constant Itching On Left Leg Below Knee, Swelling, Red Patch, Hole On Top. Insect Bite Cure?

Hi, I believe I was bit by something since last week. I have been constantly itching my left leg below the knee , it was swollen, and I have noticed a big red patch seem to be on the inside, it s very hard in that area and I see like a little hole on top seems like the area where the creature bit me at. Is this a concern that needs to be check out by a doctor please?

Dear Concerned.,

Thanks for writing to us.

Please clean the area with an antisceptic solution and dress the open wound with an Antibiotic Cream/Povidone Iodine ointment.

Take a course of broad spectrum Antibiotic/NSAIDS/Tetanus Toxoid Inj for immunisation/Anti allergic Medications.

If there is pus oozing out, pls get pus culture done.

you will recover in 2-3 days time.
