Cold, Cough, No Appetite, Chills, Fatigue, Yellow Phlegm. Smoked Heroin. Lung Pain. Reason?

I got a cold with intense coughing, no appetite, chills, fatigue. The phlegm was either clear or yellow. After about almost 2 weeks I coughed up blood, no mucus just blood. It went away after about 20 mins. This happened twice. All the symptoms cleared except the cough. That's stayed over a month. I'm sure it's related to habitually smoking heroin but that also provides relief from coughing and any previous pain when. I was more sick. Also it's one of the few things I can smoke without coughing really bad. The cough was almost gone but then I smoked crystal meth one night and about 2 hours later got intense pain in my left lung when I inhale cough or just about anything else that requires movement of them. What is this? I have an appointment with a drug center to get clean and am moving far away to stay with family to stay clean. In the mean time, is this lung thing really bad or will it clear up?

Hi, thank you for asking. Any smoking can cause lung problems. It could also weaken your immune system and it can make it worse. Tell your doctor about it to manage the current condition as well. Best wishes.
