Child With Viral, Chest Clear, Ear Clear. Throat And Head Hurts While Coughing. Giving Ibuprofen And Tylenol. What Else To Do?
Hi,
I took my 10 year to the pediatrician yesterday, she had a fever all last night of 101.5-102.
The MD said it was viral,chest clear and ears clear. Today she says her throat hurts real bad especially when she coughs and her head hurts too.
I am alternating the Ibuprofen and Tylenol, what else can i do?? she seems sicker than yesterday!

i can feel your concerns ,
its seems to be acute tonsillitis causing these symptoms.
you should give her antibiotics after consulting your doctor.
Avoid soft drinks and ice creams.
Start with honey and green tea to drink.
For fever give paracetamol 6 hourly
