Child With Frequent Fever And Stomach Pain, Diagnosed As Lymphadenitis. Suggestion?

My 10 yearl old daughter for the 2nd time in 2 months has a low grade temp and stomach pain. I took her to the ER per the pediatrician last month as her symptoms were not typical stomach flu . The found nothing wrong but thought it was lymphadenitis. They didn t do blood work. Now today I get a call from the school nurse. Kayla has a temp of 100.9 and abdominal pain but not severe just bothersome

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
The reason for mesenteric lymphadenitis in kids is generally viruses, bacteria or parasites. At present since your child again has landed with fever and abdominal pain it would be worth discussing this recurrent pain with her docter and get her investigated thoroughly with maybe a few blood investigation.
Bye
take care
