Child With Fever, Headache, Dizziness And Stomach Cramp. Need A Solution For Dizziness

Hello, my child is 6 year old. She has been sick since yesterday and today she has gotten really ill with a fever, headache , dizzy and stomach cramp . She wasn t able to stay up today because of the dizziness . I have given her Advil for pain and fever since 2:00 pm from now. Can you give me advise how to cured a child from dizziness? Thanks! Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Your daughter seems to be coming up with an infection which is giving rise to the symptoms that you have described. Fever, headache and stomach cramps can give rise to dizziness and you have rightly given her Advil to reduce the fever. This should reduce her dizziness too over the next few hours. Stomach cramps can be followed by either vomiting or even loose motions for which you will have to be on the look out and manage accordingly.
