Child With Elevated Pulse Rate And Platelet Count. Had Fever And Headache With Dizzy Spells. What Is Wrong?

My daughter has a pulse rate of 106 and slightly elevated platelet count. The other blood cell counts are normal. She had a fever and headache for the last few days. She threw up this morning after 8.5 hours of sleeping and had a dizzy spell few days back. She feels absolutely normal otherwise now. What could be wrong here ?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Your child might be having Viral fever and in fever elevated pulse rate is common. So for fever you can give tylenol in prescribed dosage and give plenty of oral fluids and consult your Pediatrician to manage the fever and vomiting.
