Hello and welcome to HCM

From my clinical experience I would like to advise you that if your child is not getting relief from cough even after starting antibiotics (cepodem ) and bronchodilators (asthalin ) then this only means that she might need nebulisation .

Nebulisation is a drug delivery mechanism used to administer medication in the form of a mist inhaled into the lungs .In this way a very small amount of medicine is needed to get faster relief .This will open up her airways and she will be able to breathe better .

You should avoid adding any more cough syrups it could make her worse .

Thanks .
