Child Have Swollen Eyes, Cough And Runny Nose. No Medication Till Now. What To Do?

i have my 3 year old granddaughter living with me. she was sick and now my 3 year old son seems to have caught it i hope at least. he has a bad cough with congestion,runny nose with yellow/green discharge,swollen eyes that look like he has been in a fistfight,a little bit of greenish mucus coming out of his eyes. i just dont know what to do

It seems from the history that your grand daughter is sufferring from upper respiratory tract infection with conjunctivitis. Since the discharge is greenish mucoid, it shows severe infection of conjunctiva. The child needs to be treated with antibiotic eye drops and oral antibiotics. You need to consult near by paediatric doctor for further treatment.
