Child Has Vomiting, Stomach Ache, No Fever

For the past 3 days, my son has been vomiting every time he complains of a stomach ache. He doesn't have a fever and it only happens once or twice a day. When he vomits, it's just mostly water with a little bit of white mucus and it's only a little bit of vomit. After he vomits, then he's fine, he goes and play, but this is happening for a couple of days now.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

How is his appetite.

Is he eating normally?

Are his eye yellow?

Does he complain of any pain in the epigastric region?

Such vomiting could be because of various problems like gastritis, jaundice etc.

A physical examination is required to identify the diagnosis.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Thanks for your query.
Your child is having vomiting which could be due to gastritis and settles in few days.
Maintain his hydration.

Give lemon water, coconut water, curd, rice porridge so as to maintain hydration and nutrition.
Avoid all kind of fried and spicy food.
Watch for features of dehydration .

In case symptoms persist get him evaluated by pediatrician.
