Child Has Vaginal Pain, Swollen Clitoris. Help

Hi, My 3 year old daughter has been experiencing pain in her vaginal area and her clitoris seems swollen and is equally painful. She also has a bit of a strong scent that has reduced with twice daily soapless baths. I wiped her with cotton wool in salty water which caused her immense pain but took the pain away for about 2/3 days. Today the pain is back.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hai Dear I think your daughter has got vulvo vaginitis (Inflamation of vulva and vagina)
The infant has got no oestrogen to protect the genital area, so any thing from tightfitted
underware to soapy bath may affect her. The irritation leads to scraching which tends to get
infected. I think you shoud take her to Paeditrician for assesment and treatment. kindest regards
