Child Has Pain On Top Of The Eyebrows. Comfortable When Given Paracetmol. Problem?

Hi Doc,

My 12 year old son has complain of pain on top of eyebrows and at times in the temples. He feels comfortable for a day when given 500mg paracetamol then it comes back again, this has been happening for last 2 weeks. We consulted the GP and he said not to worry continue with pain killer. Please advise if there is anything to worry about.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

You should get a complete examination done including eye evaluation and consultation with a ENT specialist.

Such pain could be because of various causes including vision problems, sinusitis, migraine etc

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
