All the receptionist could tell me is that the notes said book an appointment to discuss results & further investigations. I m worried sick while I wait for them to call that it s cancer . Small swellings in the neck are usually lymph nodes. Lymph nodes can be enlarged for many reasons-not only cancer. Usually i is due to infections. Sometimes tuberculosis can also cause enlarged lymph nodes and is treatable. Hope for the best. May god bless your child.
