yOUR CHILD SEEMS TO BE SUFFERING FROM NASAL ALLERGY. IF ENT SPECIALIST HAS CLEARED AND THERE IS NO ENT CAUSE FOR STUFFINESS, IT IS ALLERGY AND HE HAS TO BE ON MONTAIR LC KID. IT IS A SAFE MEDICINE AND CAN BE TAKEN OVER LONG PERIOD OF TIME. YOU MAY ALSO USE NASAL SPRAY LIKE FLUTICASONE50 WHICH WILL FURTHER CONTROL HIS ALLERGY. YOU MAY CONTINUE NEBULIZATION WHEN SYMPTOMS AGGRAVATE. DO NOT RESTRICT HIS ACTIVITIES MUCH AND LET HIM PLAY AROUND IN FRESH AIR BUT DUSTY, SMOKY AND EXTREMELY COLD ATMOSPHERE SHOULD BE AVOIDED. ALSO AVOID ANY ALLERGENS KNOWN TO CAUSE PRBLEM FOR HIM.

Psychiatrist Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

Your son seems to be suffering from an allergic rhinitis. In this condition, when the nasal mucosa becomes frequently irritated and inflamed, it is common to have occasional nasal bleed in these cases. LCZ Montkid is an anti-allergy medication which has a combination of Levocetrezine and Monteleukast. These medication basically act by preventing the release of allergy-mediators, thereby reducing the inflamation. It is a safe medication which can be taken for long periods, but it is advisable to have a regular follow up with your doctor.

Wish you all the best.
