What Causes Nose Bleed?

After getting a nose piercing on Tuesday I got a bloodthirsty nose. I ve never had a bloody nose before. I hit my hand slightly against my nose which started the bleeding. The blood was not coming from the piercing area. I do have allergies and I was outside in the heat with ought water for about an hour. My throat and eyes have been hurting lately.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
Nose piercing will not cause any nasal bleeding.
You have to consult an ENT specialist to examine for any active bleeding areas. If I were your doctor, I would have done a nasal endoscopy.
As far as possible do not prick or put pressure on the nose. Please use xylometazoline nasal drops to decongest the nose which would reduced bleeding.
