Child Diagnosed With Lactose Intolerance. Light Colored Stools After Giving Lactose Free Food. Anything To Be Concerned?

My baby i have just discovered has a lactose and dairy intolerance. It took few weeks of cutting out various different foods before i has able to sort this out. He had very loose bowels which is very unusual for him. I have now put him on a lactose free and dairy free milk and his stools are much firmer. However, they are a very light colour. Is this because of the new milk i am giving him?
