Cause Of Twitching Sensation In Chest Without Pain?

Starting yesterday evening around 8 p.m. I began feeling a pinching sensation on the right side of my chest. The sensation lasts approximately one second or less. No continuous pain, but the pinching sensation recurred in approximately 10 - 15 minutes thereafter. Most of the night I didn't feel it while sleeping. Same sensation started again this morning around 4 a.m. No shortness of breath or other abnormal physical problems. Do you know what's possibly causing the twitching sensation mentioned above? Thank you.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Twitching sensations, intermittently is seen mostly due to involuntary muscular contractions.
These contractions are usually harmless but if persistent then we should rule out low calcium and magnesium.
So if your twitching persist and cause you more discomfort then get done serum calcium and magnesium level and if deficiency then you may need supplements.
So consult your doctor and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
