Cause For The Swollen Lymph Nodes From Below The Ear To Carotid Artery?
I have swollen lymph nodes and they are hard to the touch. I had a paratid gland removed one year ago from non malignant tumor. The nodes are swollen frombelow ear all the way to carotid artery. The left side is also swollen . I have developed a cough or tickle on right side when eating. The nodes also get shooting pains in them. I am not sure if this is side effect from surgery or reason for concern.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of swollen lymph nodes in the area you have explained. These are below the ear. Hard to touch. Parotid surgery one year back.it was not cancer. The best diagnosis can be had by ultrasonography FNAC . The diagnosis made by this way will give the plan for treatment. This will also help to correlate with the parotid surgery.
