Can Withdrawal From Depo Shots Cause Brown Vaginal Discharge?
Hi I had gotten off the depo shot almost a year ago due to loss of insurance... and I have been experiencing brown discharge for months now and it is on and off but will not go away and I have yet to have a normal period if there is any advice u could give me that would be great
please get a physical exam including a speculum exam done via your gynecologist to rule out any local erosions , lesions etc , an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis and vaginal swab for culture should also be done. irregular periods may be a result of the alteration as a result of the discontinued depot shot. please do a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. your meds may be changed to oral contraceptive pills course to regularize your menses in consultation with your doctor
wishing you best of health
Thanks
