Can Vitamin Deficiency Be The Cause Of Having Tremors In Hand?

I have "tremors" in my hands and when I lean backwards my back trembles. This all came about after severe stress for about two years of school. My neuro assures me I'm fine and gave me a MRI to assure me I'm okay. My hand tremors completely go away when I apply ice on my forearms. Any idea how ice is making the "tremor" leave ? My girl friend and I share the same symptoms "shaky hands" and we are both vitamin d deficient/insufficient. My vitamin d level was 26..hers was 19. My GP said that very well could be the cause of the "tremors".
