Can Unprotected Sex After Missed Dose Of Birth Control Pills Cause Pregnancy?

I'm on Sprintec and I have a cycle of 28 days. I missed 3 pills at the begining of the pack and I made up for it. Instead of starting the pack Sunday, i started it Tuesday making up for the one I've missed. I started my period like a was due on August 17 but it was light, brown and black. I had unprotected sex with my husband on the 6 of August. It's 10 days after my period and I took 2 HPT and they came back negative. Am i pregnant and or should I stop testing

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question....I can understand your concern. ..
I would like to tell you that if one dose of pill is missed, then you can take that missed pill as early as possible and continue taking other pills as usual...but if you have missed more than 2 pills, then you need to take extra precaution while having sex during that period. ..
So if I were yout doctor, I would advise you to take emergency contraceptive pill as soon as possible, practically within 72 hours maximum. ..
But according to your history, I feel that you are not pregnant, so stop testing preg test and take your pills on schedule. ..
