Can Tufacne Cause Black Spots,swollen And Skin Break Out On Face?

Hi dotor, I was black spots on my face and my skin breaks out very frequently. I have a very oily skin. When consulted dermatologist, he had i have lot of white and blackheads and he prescribed me to have Tufacne daily for 6 weeks after dinner and Deriva to be used after dinner. But after having Tufacne after 1 week, i found my facial skin has got allergies and my face looks swollen, is this because tufacne is not responding to me?

Hi

Swelling of the face,scaling ,burning or redness of the skin can occur with the use of Tufacne.

Dryness of skin and lips can also occur with the drug.You can also be allergic to the drug.I suggest you to stop the drug.

Antihistamines should be taken to reduce the side effects.The swelling will reduce in the subsequent days.
