Can Treatment For Diarrhea Cause Irregular Bowel Movement?

Hi, two fridays ago I cam down with gastroenteritis and sever diarrhea. I was treated with oral livofloxacin for 5 days. I felt immediately better. The following saturday I had sudden chills, a fever and the diarrhea came back, forcing me to use the toilet every 30 minutes for nearly 24 hours. I was flown to the nearest er and given iv antibiotics and glucose for 4 days. I left the hospital and took monocef-0 for 3 days. I felt very weak but no more stomach problems. I did not use the restroom for about 3 days. I finally had a bowel movement today and only two small yellow pellet sized stools came out and they were covered in mucus. Is this my body shedding the infection, or is this something more serious? I am 29 years old, and was traveling in India (eating chicken and fish and some raw tomato/cucumber salads).
