Can Toothache Lead To Headache?

Hi, for the past two days I had a toothache. Since it was the long weekend and I couldn t see a dentist I took 3 pills of Advil which got me through. Today I felt severe headache and later on I threw up. However, once that was over so was my toothache. Now, I don t feel any toothache anymore... Is there any explanation for this?

Hello,

First of all, the toothache is a direct cause of the headache, you should check your teeth with a dentist and treat them. The pain killers are not useful in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dr/Mustafa, Neurologist
