Can Thyroid Problem Cause Weight Loss, Have Thyroid Condition In Family?
Had anterior cervical fusion 2 years ago, C6-C7-T1. Have lost 25 lbs since. Took early retirement (63) last year due to recurring issues that caused me to have surgery. Could this be a thyroid condition? My mother had thyroid issues prior to her passing.

Hyperthyroidism can cause weight loss. Here thyroid is producing excess thyroid hormones. Please check your thyroid function tests and let us know.
