Can There Be Any Complication In Childbirth For Someone Gone Through Angiolplasty ?

My Daughter had angioplasty when she was 20 years old because of Fibromuscular Dyspasia- she is now 27 years old and pregnant and does not have insurance to see other doc s beside her OB/GYN- How concerned should I be that she will have severe complication during pregnancy and childbirth. She is currently working with a high risk OB/GYN.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

There should be nothing to worry about as the high risk OBGYN would be well informed and aware of her condition, and would be able to take all the necessary precautions. If all the precautions are taken, then there should be absolutely no risks or complications involved.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
