Can The Semen Infection Be Sexually Transmitted Or Not?

My partner and I recently got tested for STD and we were both negative, however he is tested postive for semen infection. I am confuse, how does this happen? Is it sexually transmitted or not? And for further info, I was previously diagnosed with BV but it was clear after my second test.

No this is not std and this is basically same as urinary tract infection so it is not transmisable. It may just be painful for him to have intercoursr so it should be treated by antibiotics
