Can The Placenta Grade Be Changed To 2 And How To Prolong The Delivery?

Hello Dr, I am 33 weeks pregnant but my baby is in restricted growth, she is around 30 weeks which make a difference in aging especially that the AC measurement is little low. I was at hospital to monitor baby for 3 weeks and she is around 1,400 kg right now. I did an ultrasound last Tuesday and placenta age was grade 2 but after 2 days I did another ultrasound and the age was 3. What is the reason of that? because my placenta reach age 3 when I was 37-38 with my first baby so I did a c-section. For now, I did a Doppler and everything was normal but I am so afraid from delivering early. So, my Dr decide to do doppler and NST twice a week but can the placenta change to grade 2? what can I do to keep the baby at least to 36 weeks?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Your concerns are valid.
The baby is not getting enough nutrition as the placenta has aged earlier than the baby.
So the baby is not growing. It will not grow optimally as the placenta cannot become grade 2.
But getting the baby out now is risky as it will have poor lung growth.
After 34-35 weeks it will be better.
Meanwhile you should try tablets alivher thrice a DAY.
Argipreg granules twice a day.
Tab astymin forte daily.
I hope your doctor has given you injection betnesol.
Meanwhile continue with Doppler and ultrasound.
Write back with reports.
Thanks
