Can The Lump In Throat Be Related To Diabetes?

Hi iam 27 and became type 1 diabetic almost 2 years now. i have been expeiriencing a lump in my throat when i wake up in the morning and i dont have any swelling antwhere else. feet,hands legs nothing but this lump it gores away after i dreink some cold water is this normal? What should i do??

I think that your symptoms are related to a condition that is called oral candidiasis. The high level of sugar in blood favors oral candidiasis.

I recommend you to avoid spicy and acidic foods. You need to do an oral culture. The treatment contains nystatin.
