Can The Baby Be Infected By UTI Through Vaginal Or Anal Sex?
hi, my name is jessica. my boyfriend resently told me he has an infection. it may be a uti, but he hasn't gone to the doctor to check. im 8 months pregnant, can he infect me and the baby by having vagnial sex. also, can it be from anal sex? and can ic amoxicillin 500 cure it?

Hi,
There are STI (Like TORCH ) which may led to foetal abnormalities .As You don't know abut your boy friends infection status you should go to obstetrics n gynecology clinic n get examined n investigated .
Amoxicilline is for mostly gram positive bacteria and not effective against gm negative, anaerobe n viral infection . And you should not start any drug by your own as it may be foetopathic .
So in my opinion wait for your investigation n treat accordingly n there are most chances you might not be infected .
