Can Taking Methotrexate Cause Tiredness?

Hello, I have been diagnosed with Sarcoidisis and my consultant has put me on methotrexate methotrexate where I now take 4 tables per week. I do feel very tired and I would like to know if the medicine can make you tired or is there something else that I should be doing?

Hi,
Methotrexate can cause bone marrow depression causing anemia that may make you tired, even though this is more theoretical. Sarcoidosis itself causes fatigue and tiredness and in which case MTx should help you by controlling the disease.
do not stop the drug without consultation.
hope this helped.
