Hello,

Stoppage of birth control pills ideally does not cause fever. However, fever can occur due to infections like UTI. Other medical reasons for getting sick after post partum are foul vaginal discharge, anemia, generalized weakness, blood clots or postpartum depression.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by your OBGYN to detect any blood clots or any post partum remains. Get CBC and Urinalysis done. If fever is due to UTI, you will need antibiotics. In the meantime, take adequate water orally. You can take acetaminophen, one SOS, when necessary(when you cannot endure body hurts).

Take care of your hygiene, avoid sex. Take home made food rich in calcium, iron, proteins and minerals. You can also take mutivitamin supplements.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
