Can Stomach Cancer Be Detected Through A CBC Test?

Hello, this is Cna My doctor told me to do CBC to realise if I have stomach cancer but when the result came back that was perfect and my doctor told me that if I had stomach cancer it would have shown in the result. Is this true? So is that impossible to have stomach cancer now? Best regards Cna

Stomach cancer cannot be detected by a CBC - complete blood count test. Some abnormalities in CBC can point to certain cancers but there is no CBC abnormality that can be linked to stomach cancer.
If you have symptoms like weight loss, extreme pain, blood appearing in the vomiting or faeces; and others, do consult an oncologist and undergo thorough investigations for cancer.
Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
