In the current scenario, the pre-ejaculate is sufficient to cause conception if the intercourse occurred during the fertile period of your cycle. Though the sperm count in succesive ejaculations can be low, it is not carried over from a previous ejaculation after a shower. The fertile or ovulation period is two weeks prior to the onset of the next period. Please get further help if you become overdue by ten days for your next natural period. Hope this helps.
