Can Skipping Thyronorm During Pregnancy Cause A Miscarriage?

Hi doctor! I was 5 weeks pregnant and my TSH levels was 4.65, my gynecologist prescribed me to take 12.5 mcg thyronorm tablets. I was taking it regularly but during my 7th week I had a miscarriage. Is it because I dint take required mcg of thyronorm, should I have taken 25 mcg ? Please help

Hi, I think dose of 12.5 mcg was fine. Miscarriage can be due to some other reason like some chromosomal abnormality or some autoimmune disease. So, thyroid may not be the reason. Do a anti TPO antibody level.
