Can Ritalin Sr 20 Mg Cause Pain In Sternum Area?

I took one tab of slow release 20 my Ritalin yesterday. When I came down I had severe stomach cramps which went up Into my sternum area. The stomach cramps have gone but I am left with a severe achy pain just below my sternum which feels like I m being stabbed when I breath in. Any thought?

Cramps and chest pain are one of the commonest and temporary side effects with ritalin SR so to overcome that i advise you to take tab Pantocid DSR and bland food, avoid spicy and oily food for some days, You can ask your consultant to taper the dose or ask for alternative.
